Administration

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Administrative Staff is comprised of several people who assist the Sheriff with the daily operations of the office.

Captain Charles Hodges

"I am a US Army Combat veteran; I began my career in law enforcement in 1990 as a Military Police Officer.  In 1992, I attended the police academy at Central Missouri State University and began my civilian law enforcement career.  I have worked at several agencies throughout Missouri.  In my career I have worked in almost every aspect of the law enforcement field. I have also worked as Chief of Police in a city in Southwest Missouri.  I came to St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in 2013 and worked as a patrol deputy.  In 2014, I left for a short time and returned in 2015.  After returning to St. Clair County, I have worked my way up through the ranks.  I was instrumental in the development and training of the Special Response Team.   I look forward to a long career with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office. I will do my best to continue to make this agency a professional environment and a great place to work."
