Text Caster
Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to happily announce a partnership with Text Caster! Text Caster is a free service for the community, and only sends information to your phone if you choose to sign up for it.
Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. Arrests
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made four arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 13th, 2021 through April 19th, 2021.
King, Cassandra - On April 13th, Cassandra King, 30, Poplar Bluff, was arrested by Christian County Sheriff's Office for a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant on a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Cassandra was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and the bond was set at $2,500.00 cash only.
Robertson, Paul - On April 13th, Paul Robertson, 35, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Cass County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor Warrant. Paul was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and was given an OR Bond.
Daehler, John - On April 14th, John Daehler, 26, Blue Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Felony charge of Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. John was booked and released pending formal charges.
Foster, Richard - On April 15th, Richard Foster, 35, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for two St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrants. The first was a Misdemeanor was for Owner Operated Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility (Motor Vehicle Required to be Registered) - 1st Offense. The second was an Infraction for Driver/Front Seat Passenger Fail to Wear Properly Adjusted/Fastened Safety Belt.
Stealing in Appleton City
On April 15th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service in Appleton City in reference to stealing. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that a blue in color Dodge Journey was found attempting to steal the rear end from a Chevrolet S-10 Truck, but returned the rear end and left when confronted by the victim. Shortly later, when the victim returned home, he/she noticed that the rear end was missing. The total value of the rear end was valued at $100.00.
Burglary in Deepwater
On April 17th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Deepwater in regards to a burglary. Upon making contact with the victim, the deputy received information that the victim had returned to his/her hunting cabin and observed the door knob had been pried off, and multiple sleeping bags left inside of the cabin that did not belong to the victim. A small propane heater and a box of 30-30 rifle bullets were reported missing, and the total value of loss was estimated at $180.00 at that time.
