Text Caster Announcement

I am excited to introduce Text Caster to the citizens of St Clair County.  Text Caster allows the citizens the ability to receive alerts directly from the Sheriff's Office.   Text Caster is a free service for the community and only sends information to your phone, if you choose to sign up for it.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts, ongoing crime situations, community events and other emergency notifications. An example would be; a person on the loose in a certain neighborhood.  A text would go to your phone alerting you to the potential danger.  Severe weather alerts come directly to you from the national weather service.   You have the option of signing up ONLY for notifications you specifically want.
