The complete St. Clair County Sheriff's Office  News Release December 15, 2020 through December 21, 2020

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made four arrests and took multiple reports during the weeks of December 15, 2020 through December 21, 2020.

Arrests

 

Brzchulaski, Shawna.jpgShawna Brzuchalski - On December 15, Shawna Brzuchalski, 39, Clinton, was arrested for two Felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.

The arrest was made after a St. Clair County deputy approached the vehicle that Shawna was the passenger of, at a store in Lowry City, in response to the odor of illegal substances. Upon making contact with Shawna, the deputy informed her of said odor, and asked if anything illegal was in the vehicle. Shawna gave the deputy a small baggy containing marijuana, and stated nothing else illegal was in the vehicle.

During a probable cause search of Shawna and the vehicle she was a passenger of, St. Clair County deputies found a .380 pistol, multiple containers of marijuana seeds, a small glass pipe containing a white residue, three pill capsules containing a liquid substance, and multiple bags containing a crystal substance, weighing a total of 10.88 grams, that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and approximately 99 grams of marijuana total. The pipe, the pill capsules, and multiple bags containing a crystal substance, all field tested positive for methamphetamine.

 

Nuanmanee, Robert.jpgRobert Nuanmanee - On December 15, Robert Nuanmanee, California, was arrested for two Felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Felony charge of Unlawful Use of Weapon - Subsection 11 - Possess Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety.

The arrest was made after a St. Clair County deputy approached the vehicle that Robert was the driver of, at a store in Lowry City, in response to the odor of illegal substances. Upon making contact with the passenger, Shawna Brzuchalski, the deputy informed her of said odor, and asked if anything illegal was in the vehicle. Shawna gave the deputy a small bag containing marijuana, and stated nothing else illegal was in the vehicle.

Muenks, Deidra.jpgDeidra Muenks - On December 17, Deidra Muenks, 33, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

 

Johnson, Louis.jpgLouis Johnson - On December 19, Louis Johnson, 37, Kansas City, was arrested on a Felony charge for DWI- Chronic. Louis was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest was made after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Louis was the driver of, for a speeding violation. Upon making contact with Louis, the deputy could smell the odor of intoxicants coming from him. Louis failed the field sobriety test, and refused to a chemical test of his breath.

 

Bowden, Darnell.jpgDarnell Bowden - On December 21, Darnell Bowden, 28, Kansas City, was arrested on a Felony Warrant for Driving While Revoked/Suspended. The bond was set for $5,000 cash only.

The original arrest was made when a St. Clair County deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in Collins. Upon making contact with the occupants, the driver, Darnell Bowden, was asked to step out of the vehicle to speak with the deputy. Investigation into Darnell's information revealed that he had a suspended license, and a history of multiple driving while revoked convictions.

 

Property Damage in Collins

 

On December 21, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Highway 54 in Collins in regards to property damage. Upon arrival, the deputy met with Kevin Hollaway, who reported that when he checked on his vehicle during the evening, he noticed that his car had a flat tire and the valve stem had been removed. Kevin stated he was concerned about the possibility of something being placed in his gas tank, so he plans to have a mechanic look at the car. Suspects were named, and photographs alongside a report were taken by the deputy.
