Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 16 arrests and took multiple reports during the weeks of April 14 through 28, 2020.

Warrant Arrests

Walker.jpg

Darnel Walker- On April 28, Darnel Walker, 28, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine. Walker was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Walker was driving. During the conversation the deputy asked for and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search a glass bong and a glass pipe were located. Both items field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Jamie Brooke- On April 25, Jamie Brooke, 21, unknown, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Wright County warrant for a probation violation. This is a no bond warrant.

James McBride- On April 25, James McBride, 18, Springfield, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jackson County warrant for a class E felony resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony. This is a no bond warrant.

Shawn Brune- On April 23, Shawn Brune, 45, Lindsay, OK, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Brune was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to SW 831 Road in reference to threats. Upon arrival the deputies made contact with property owner. After getting consent to search the bedroom, a mirror was located with a crystal like substance on it along with two load-ed syringes and a modified item to smoke methamphetamine.

Jessica Donald- On April 23, Jessica Donald, 32, Leavenworth, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor. Donald was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to SW 831 Road in reference to threats. Upon arrival the deputies made contact with property owner. The deputies could see people inside the house through the front door.

While conducting the investigation, two subjects had run out the back door and were trying to flee the scene. Both subjects, later identified as Donald and a male juvenile, complied with the order to stop and returned to the residence.

Christy Tigner- On April 23, Christy Tigner, 60, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Tigner was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after deputies were dispatched to a residence on SW 831 Road in reference to threats. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke Tigner. While Tigner was explaining the situation to the deputy she stated she found a glass pipe next to her bed and pulled it out of her pocket to give to the deputy.

Robert Slater- On April 22, Robert Slater, 40, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class C misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree and an infraction for trespassing in the second degree. Slater was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after Slater refused to leave from property after the property owner told him to leave. The property owner's father came to the property and also told Slater to leave. Slater pushed the property owner's father. The father did punch Slater in the face after being pushed. The property owner stated she had recorded the incident on her phone.

Amanda Crawford- On April 21, Amanda Crawford, 31, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony unlawful possession, transport, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon. Crawford was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after the vehicle that Crawford was a passenger in was stopped for an investigation. During the conversation with the driver, consent was obtained to search the vehicle. During the search, a set of brass knuckles was located in the purse that belonged to Crawford.

Ashley Vandenburg- On April 20, Ashley Vandenburg, 31, Nevada, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation on an original charge of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $2,500.

The original charge comes from an investigation by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in November of 2017.

Samuel Lyon

Samuel Lyon- On April 19, Samuel Lyon, 41, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Lyon was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Lyon was driving. During the stop, Lyon handed a container to the deputy that had a green leafy sub-stance in it. A K9 unit was called to the scene to perform an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 did alert to the odor of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle a plastic baggie was located that contained a crystal like substance. The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Brent Roberts

Brent Roberts- On April 19, Brent Roberts, 38, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class E felony domestic assault in the third degree. Roberts was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after the girlfriend to Roberts stated he had been drinking and had put his hands on her and smashed her face into the ground causing a bloody nose.

Terry Sieleman- On April 19, Terry Sieleman, 42, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation on an original class C felony possession of controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only. The original charges stem from an investigation by the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force in October of 2016.

Sieleman also has another warrant out of St. Clair County for a probation violation on an original charge of a class C possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only. The original charge comes from an Appleton City Police Department investigation in October of 2013.

Christopher Barks

Christopher Barks- On April 18, Christopher Barks, 39, Randolph, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and class E felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine. Barks was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a detective with the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force advised a St. Clair County deputy of a vehicle that was driving erratically. The deputy got behind the vehicle while traveling on southbound Highway 13 and noticed the vehicle speeding. The deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, later identified as Christopher Barks. During the conversation, the deputy asked for and was granted consent to search the vehicle.

During the search, two glass pipes were located along with two plastic bags containing a crystal like substance. Barks admitted to the drugs and pipes to being his.

Samuel Lyon- On April 15, Samuel Lyon, 41, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine. Lyon was booked and re-leased pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a traffic stop was performed on the vehicle Lyon was driving for a moving violation. The deputy spoke with Lyon. Lyon admitted to having marijuana. The deputies searched the vehicle and located a glass pipe that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Al-so located was a bag with marijuana, a jar with marijuana, and two marijuana pipes.

Richard Weld

Richard Weld- On April 15, Richard Weld, 33, Lee's Summit, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after St. Clair County deputies tried to perform a traffic stop on the motorcycle Weld was driving for speeding. Weld refused to stop for the deputies and fled from them. The failure to yield crossed into Polk County. Polk County was notified of incident. St. Clair County deputies were able to take Weld into custody at Main and Broadway in Bolivar.

Flint Greer

Flint Greer- On April 14, Flint Greer, 30, Stockton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class E felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony assault in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor trespass in the third degree. Greer was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to a residence on SE 1074 Road in reference to a trespass. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the subject, later identified as Greer. Greer was ordered to the ground and taken into custody without incident. During a search of Greer's property, two glass pipes were located and two syringes.

Burglary in Osceola

On April 26, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NE 500 Road in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Terri White. White stated when she got to the residence she noticed the gate to the property was opened. There was no forced entry to the residence. Items missing include a brand new, in the box, toilet, two propane tanks, a folding camping chair with side table, a 3 gallon HDX air compressor, and a battery for the camper. Total estimated loss value is $410.

Burglary in Osceola

On April 23, St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to the Wildflower Inn in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with John Maggard. Maggard stated someone had kicked in the back door and stole a window air conditioning unit.

The deputy photographed the area. Estimated loss value $400. A suspect has been named.

Burglary in Osceola

On April 22, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatch to a residence on NW 501 Road in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Cody Williamson. Williamson stated someone turned the power to the residence off at the pole and unplugged the camera at the front door. Williamson stated he did not notice anything missing from the residence.

Williamson did state he noticed his Husqvarna 390 XP chainsaw missing. Estimated loss value is $50.

Vandalism in Osceola

On April 20, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a property on NE Highway 82. The deputy spoke to the property owner, Judy Crowl, by phone. Crowl stated someone had run over her swing gate to her property and drove into her field. The deputy took pictures of the gate, but did not see any tire marks in the field. Estimated loss value is $300.

Burglary at Twin Oaks Harbor

On April 17, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence in Twin Oaks Harbor in regards to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Vicki Sokolacai. Sokolacai stated someone had broken into her trailer and stole a Playstation 4, a 60 inch Vizio television, and a 47 inch LG television.

The deputy took pictures of the pry marks on the front and back doors. Estimated loss value is $1,100.
