St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office News Updates Sept. 3-7, 2018
Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made four arrests during the week of Sept. 3-7, 2018.
Warrant Arrest
Leslie Hardy |
Leslie Hardy- On Sept. 6, Leslie Hardy, 40, Isabella, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
The charge comes after the vehicle Hardy was a passenger in was pulled over for a traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy on March 3, 2018. Hardy admitted to having a marijuana cigarette in her backpack. A search of the backpack revealed multiple marijuana cigarettes and a baggie with crystal like residue in it, which field tested positive for methamphetamines.

Juliette Smith- On Sept. 6, Juliette Smith, 40, Lee’s Summit, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original class A misdemeanor operated a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident and a class D misdemeanor no insurance. Bond is set at $500 cash or surety for the class A misdemeanor and $241.50 cash only for the class D misdemeanor.
The charges come from the Missouri State Highway Patrol on April 19, 2018.

Amanda Crawford- On Sept. 5, Amanda Crawford, 29, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The warrant stems from an investigation by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force on Aug. 3, 2018. Deputies and detectives executed a search warrant at Crawford’s residence. During the search, a plastic baggie with a white crystal like residue was found, along with a container with marijuana, syringes and a pipe with marijuana residue.

Christina Gauger- On Sept. 4, Christina Gauger, 37, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle she was driving for an equipment violation.
The deputy requested a K9 unit to his location. The K9 did an exterior sniff test of the vehicle and did alert to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the deputy finding plastic baggies with a grey rock substance and a vile with a white crystal like residue. The vile field tested positive for methamphetamine.
