The complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office  News Release July 23-30, 2018

            Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made eight arrests and took a stealing report during the week of July 23-30, 2018.

Warrant Arrests

John Pfeifer

     John Pfeifer- On July 26, John Pfeifer, 20, Overland Park, KS, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class A felony trafficking drugs in the first degree and a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 11-35 grams. Total bond is set at $30,000 cash only. 
     The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle that Pfeifer was driving for traffic violations. A K9 unit was called to the scene to conduct an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics. Pfeifer admitted to having marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle the marijuana was located where Pfeifer said it was, along with acid (LSD) laced paper, marijuana wax, and drug paraphernalia.

Jerry Allison

     Jerry Allison- On July 26, Jerry Allison, 40, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. This is a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.
     The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was assisting the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force during a consensual search of a residence on West Burbank Street in Appleton City. During a search of the residence two glass light bulbs that were fashioned into smoking devices were found along with a zip lock bag with a crystalline substance in it. The light bulbs and zip lock bag field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Natasha Allison

     Natasha Allison- On July 26, Natasha Allison, 37, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. This is a 24 hour hold pending formal charges.

James Dodson

     James Dodson- On July 25, James Dodson, 24, Deepwater, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Dodson was booked and released pending formal charges.
     The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was assisting the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force during an investigation at a residence on West Burbank Street in Appleton City. During the consensual search of the residence, a Drug Task Force detective found some items that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Naomi Green

     Naomi Green- On July 25, Naomi Green, 33, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear in court on original charges of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class B misdemeanor trespassing in the first degree. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.
     The arrest comes after the vehicle that Green was a passenger in was stopped for driving through a yard. She admitted to the deputy that she had a baggie of methamphetamine stuffed into the crotch of her pants. The baggie was recovered at the St. Clair County Jail during a search of her person.

Bennett Ivlow

     Bennett Ivlow- On July 25, Bennett Ivlow, 38, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear in court on original charges of a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-prior offense. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
     The charges stem from a drug investigation on May 4, 2017, when St. Clair County deputies and a member of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force went to a residence on West Fifth Street, Appleton City. During the investigation a small clear plastic bag with a crystalline substance was found inside one of Ivlow’s socks, and a hypodermic syringe/needle was found inside a pocket of his shorts. A clear liquid substance was present inside the syringe. The crystalline substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Nicholas Brown

     Nicholas Brown- On July 23, Nicholas Brown, 33, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Miami County, Kansas warrant on an unclassified felony for forgery. This is a no bond warrant.

Steven Myers

     Steven Myers- On July 23, Steven Myers, 24, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Vernon County warrant for a class D felony stealing-firearm/explosive weapon/ammonium nitrate. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
     The charge comes from the Nevada Police Department on Nov. 15, 2017.

Stealing in the area of Highway B and NW 751 Road

     On July 30, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the area of Highway B and NW 751 Road in reference to a stealing that had occurred.
     Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Ryan Self. Self stated that sometime between July 26 and July 30, a person or persons had removed the battery and a winch from a Caterpillar skid steer. Self stated the winch weighed around 300 pounds and someone would need help to move it.
     Photographs and evidence was collected from the scene.
     Estimated total loss of items is $6,300.
