The complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office News Release June 25-July 2, 2018
Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made nine arrests, took a stealing report, and a burglary report during the week of June 25-July 2, 2018.
Warrant Arrests

Tristen Brightwell
|
Tristen Brightwell- On July 1, Tristen Brightwell, 20, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class E felony assault in the third degree and a class A misdemeanor domestic assault in the fourth degree. Brightwell was booked and released pending formal charges.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to an apartment on Goodrich Drive. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Lee and Angelica Bryant, Krista Turner and Tristen Brightwell. All four admitted to consuming alcohol. It was also stated that Brightwell had gotten really upset and started putting his hands on Angelica. Lee heard his sister, Angelica, screaming. Lee confronted Brightwell and the two began fighting. Turner stated she tried to hug Brightwell after the fight to calm him down and Brightwell cut her on the stomach with a knife.

Casey Wall

Casey Wall- On July 1, Casey Wall, 29, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy stopped to check on a vehicle that was sitting on the road with its hazard lights on. The deputy made contact with the driver, Wall, who stated that they had ran out of gas and were waiting on their friend to bring them some. The deputy asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle. The driver stated no, and gave consent to search the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, heroin was located inside the purse of the female passenger. Wall also admitted to the deputies that he had a broken glass pipe in his pocket.

Danielle Lindquist

Danielle Lindquist- On July 1, Danielle Lindquist, 49, Glendale, AZ, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy stopped to check on a vehicle that was sitting on the side of the road with its hazard lights on. The deputies got consent to search from the driver of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, heroin was found in the purse belonging to Lindquist.

Joseph Horn

Joseph Horn- On June 30, Joseph Horn, 23, Tupelo, MS, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class B misdemeanor exceeding posted speed limit by more than 26 mph. Horn was booked and released pending formal charges.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle Horn was driving for excessive speeding.

Casey Williams

Casey Williams- On June 29, Casey Williams, 31, Lee’s Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Williams was booked and released pending formal charges.
The arrest comes after a deputy pulled over the vehicle Williams was driving for a traffic violation. While talking with the deputy, Williams admitted to having pills in her shoe that were in a cellophane wrapper. Williams admitted the pills were xanax and hydrocodone.

David McKinney

David McKinney- On June 28, David McKinney, 36, Appleton City, was arrested on multiple St. Clair County warrants charging him with a class E felony domestic assault in the third degree, class A misdemeanor assault in the third degree, an unclassified probation violation, and a class D misdemeanor driving without a license. Total bond is set at $13,500 cash or surety and $173 cash only.
The warrants stem from incidents in 2016 and 2017.

Christopher Parker

Christopher Parker- On June 28, Christopher Parker, 47, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set at $1,500 cash only.
The warrant was issued on Dec. 27, 2016.

Jason Bost

Jason Bost- On June 28, Jason Bost, 44, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bost was booked and released pending formal charges.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the area of Twin Oaks Harbor to check the welfare of people asleep in a vehicle. When the deputy arrived on scene, a male and female subject were standing outside of the vehicle and child was inside the vehicle. The deputy asked for and was given consent to search the vehicle by both the female and Bost. During the search of the vehicle two large plastic bags and a straw were found with some white crystal like residue on them. The bags and straw all field tested positive for methamphetamines. Bost admitted to all of the stuff to be his.

Caleb Colby

Caleb Colby- On June 26, Caleb Colby, 28, Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a probation and parole violation. This is a no bond 48 hour hold.
The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office in Osceola.

Burglary in Collins
On June 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE 701 Road and SE 1200 Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival, the deputy located two vehicles on SE 701 Road. There was a late model blue New Holland tractor and a blue Buick with the hood up and the ignition was missing. During the investigation the deputy found the owner of the New Holland tractor to be Robert Floyd. Contact was made with Floyd and he was unaware that the tractor was taken from his property.
On June 30, a St. Clair County deputy met up with Floyd to check out the cabin. Floyd stated that pretty much everything had been disturbed in the house. Floyd stated he would get a list of items that were missing and a damage estimate to the deputy as soon as he could.
Evidence was collected from the scene and suspects have been named.
Stolen Vehicle in Collins
On June 28, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE 777 Private Road in Collins in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Judy Freeman. She stated her white, four door 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix was taken during the night from her residence. Freeman stated it was her work vehicle for mail delivery. It has a “U.S. Mail” sticker on the back window.
Estimated value of the vehicle is $1,500.
