Citizen Review Board
St. Clair County Sheriff Scott A. Keeler is requesting applicants of persons interested in serving on a citizen review board.
The review board will be responsible for examining the immediate current needs, as well as the future space required for the continued operation of the Sheriff's Office/Dispatch Center.
The board will have a majority say in the financial impact of the expansion of the current building or the feasibility for construction of a new facility to house the two departments. The study will help to determine the most cost efficient building solution while maintaining or potentially increasing future revenues. This will ensure that the Sheriff's Office can better serve the county and our communities. All information and the findings of the board will be open to the public for review and input.
Interested persons must have a clean criminal history and be willing to donate a few hours per week until the study is completed. We would like to have at least one representative member from each of the Townships in St. Clair County.
If you are interested, application can be made in person at the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, Monday-Friday, during normal business hours. This is a great opportunity for you to assist me towards betterment of our community.
