Lakeland School is Safe

                The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office was recently advised of a possible threat, that had been made by a student at Lakeland School, regarding causing harm to other students and/or faculty of the school.                
                The information has been thoroughly investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and all necessary steps have been taken to insure the safety of the students, faculty, parents, and the school itself. All information obtained has been shared with the school and forwarded to the Juvenile Office for further investigation. We are confident, that at this time, the situation has been handled and poses no threat to the community.
