The complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office  News Release Feb. 12-19, 2018

            Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made four arrests, took a burglary report, and had a failure to yield during the week of Feb. 12-19, 2018.

Warrant Arrests

     Tammy Hiller- On Feb. 18, Tammy Hiller, 50, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jackson County warrant charging her with felony D possession of a controlled substance. The deputies also charged her with a felony D possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor D unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $4,000 or 10 percent cash.
     The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies went to a residence in Twin Oaks Harbor to serve a warrant. While at the residence, Hiller admitted that there may be some marijuana in her belongings. She consented to a search of her belongings. Deputies found a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamines.
             

     Alexander Stewart- On Feb. 18, Alexander Stewart, 27, Jasper, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jasper County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on misdemeanor charges of speeding, no insurance, and no operator’s license and a Barton County warrant for no operator’s license. Total bond is set at $1,489 cash only.
     The arrest comes after the St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that Stewart was driving.
           

     Thomas Killiebrew Sr.- On Feb. 14, Thomas Killiebrew Sr., 42, Montrose, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with an unclassified felony of statutory rape in the first degree-sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old, an unclassified felony of statutory sodomy in the first degree-deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old threatening serious physical injury/displays deadly weapon, an unclassified felony of sodomy in the first degree-deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old, and two class D felonies of incest. Bond is set at $250,000 cash only.
     This is an ongoing investigation with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office. More formal charges are pending.
           

     Dakota Antle- On Feb. 12, Dakota Antle, 24, St. Joseph, was arrested on a St. Clair county warrant for multiple charges. He is being charged with a class E felony of leaving a scene of an accident with property damage exceeding $1,000, and a class E felony of resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing. There are five class A misdemeanor charges for assault in the fourth degree, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner-involving an accident, failure to yield to emergency vehicle sounding and displaying red/blue lights, driving while revoked or suspended-second offense, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Antle is also charged with two class C misdemeanors for failure to stop at a stop sign and exceeding the posted speed limit by 16-19 mph. Total bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.
     The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle that Antle was driving. Antle failed to yield to the deputy and fled. When the deputy tried to block the vehicle, Antle accelerated his vehicle and side swiped the patrol vehicle, and continued to flee. After a short distance, Antle did stop the vehicle.
     The deputies did a search of the car and found a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana.

Failure to Yield

            On Feb. 17, a St. Clair County deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle, going south on Highway 13, for speeding. As the deputy was on the radio with dispatch, the vehicle took off, and refused to pull back over.
           As the vehicle continued to fail to yield, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Polk County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by dispatch for assistance. As the vehicle was entering Polk County, Missouri State Highway Patrol, deployed tire spikes. The driver of the vehicle swerved to the right and over-corrected to the left, causing the vehicle to spin around and off the west side of the vehicle. The driver started driving through the grass and tried to get back on the surfaced highway. A St. Clair County deputy blocked the vehicle from getting back onto the highway.
           With the help from another St. Clair County deputy, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and a Polk County deputy, two juvenile suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
           A check of the vehicle identification number showed that it was stolen out of Kansas City, Missouri.
           The juveniles were evasive to the deputies about their names and dates of birth. After being fingerprinted to confirm their identity, they were indeed, juveniles.
           A deputy contacted the area Juvenile Officer and advised him of the situation. The Juvenile Officer took custody of the two juveniles and transported them to the Cass County Juvenile Center.

Burglary in Osceola

            On Feb. 15, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NE Old Highway 13 in reference to a burglary.
            Upon arrival, the deputy contacted James William, who stated that when he arrived home, he found several screens removed from the windows on his house. William stated that several home furnishings had been gone through and his belongings were lying on the floor. William stated that his 50” Vizio TV was missing. The TV is valued at$600.
            The deputy took photographs and collected evidence from the scene.
