Vehicle Reported Stolen Out of Collins
On Nov. 1, a St. Clair County deputy took a stolen vehicle report from Flint Greer in Collins. Greer stated he was in an accident on Oct. 31 and parked his 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac at Bud Wilkerson’s house on SE 871 Rd.
The deputy went to Wilkerson’s house to try and locate the vehicle. Wilkerson stated that Greer left his vehicle in his driveway after being told not to. Wilkerson wanted the vehicle removed so, Paul Reaves removed the vehicle.
On Nov. 2, an anonymous tip was received that the vehicle was located at 4885 SE 871 Rd., Collins. The deputy went to the address and located the vehicle and had it towed. While there the deputy made contact with Paul Reaves. Reaves stated he was keeping the vehicle because Greer owed him some money for working on the truck. The deputy informed Reaves that Greer had reported it stolen. Reaves became angry and went back into his residence.
