            Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made four warrant arrests and took a property damage report during the week of Sept. 18-25, 2017.

Andrew Anderson

            Andrew Anderson- On Sept. 24, Andrew Anderson, 18, unknown, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony of tampering with a motor vehicle-first degree, class D felony of endangering the welfare of a child, a class E felony of resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing, a class B misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, a class B misdemeanor of exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 mph or more, a class D misdemeanor of possession of marijuana/synthetic cannanbinoid of 10 grams or less, a class D misdemeanor of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

            The charges stem from a St. Clair County investigation on Sept. 24, when deputies responded to a report of shots fired on NE 871 Rd. While responding, the deputies passed a vehicle matching the description given by the reporting party. When deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle fled. Once stopped, the driver, identified as Andrew Anderson, was placed in custody. A search of the vehicle resulted in the finding of a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. A check of the vehicle showed it was a stolen out of Springfield.

Daniel Wire

             Daniel Wire- On Sept. 22, Daniel Wire, 53, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony for possession of controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
             The charges stem from an investigation on Sept. 22, when a St. Clair County deputy stopped to check a vehicle on the side of the road. Wire was asleep in the vehicle. Wire stated the deputy could search him and the vehicle. The deputy found a plastic bag with a crystal like substance in it, which tested positive for methamphetamines.

Dennis Woody Jr.

             Dennis Woody Jr.- On Sept. 20, Dennis Woody Jr., 37, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

             The charge stems from an incident on April 4, 2015, when St. Clair County deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle Woody was driving. During the investigation a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine was located in Woody’s possession. Woody was issued summons for driving while suspended and no proof of insurance. The Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.

Alexandria Moore

          Alexandria Moore- On Sept. 20, Alexandria Moore, 24, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on an Osceola Police Department warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original ordinance charge of stealing. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

                                   Property Damage Report in Collins
               On Sept. 24, a St. Clair County deputy took a report of property damage on SE 875 Rd. in Collins.
               Upon arrival the deputy made contact with Brittany Keith, who stated at approximately 8:50 p.m., a red S10 type vehicle, drove by her house and started firing a gun while she was outside with her grandfather, James Louvier. Keith further stated the subjects in the vehicle were also shooting off fireworks at the same time.
               A check of Keith’s residence revealed three bullet holes. There was also a bullet hole in Louvier’s front door.
               The deputy recovered three empty casings from the scene. The evidence was collected and taken to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.
