The complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office  News Release Aug. 28-Sept. 4, 2017

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made four warrant arrests and took a report of assault and property damage during the week of Aug. 28- Sept 4, 2017.

Warrant Arrests

        Zachary Blanton- On Sept. 2, Zachary Blanton, 26, Kansas City, was arrested during a traffic stop. Blanton was arrested on a Polk County warrant on an unclassified misdemeanor charge of failing to appear for no insurance. Bond is set at $300 cash only

       Ronald Wooten- On Sept. 2, Ronald Wooten, 29, Lowry City, was arrested during a traffic stop. While patrolling NW 1000 Road a deputy observed a white pickup truck in front of him with a broken rear tail light. 

            A record check showed Wooten had active warrants out of Belton and Platte County. Wooten was taken into custody. The Platte County warrant is for failing to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Bond is $250 cash or surety. The Belton warrant is for failing to appear on a city ordinance violation. The bond is set at $150.

        John Younce Jr.- On Sept. 2, John Younce, Jr., 44, Belton, was arrested during a traffic stop. While patrolling NW 1000 Road a deputy observed a white pickup truck in front of him with a broken left rear tail light.

            A passenger in Wooten’s vehicle, later identified as John Oliver Younce Jr., was sitting in the back seat on the driver’s side. He observed sitting in plain view, next to Mr. Younce's wallet and cigarettes, a small clear plastic bag containing two small bags of marijuana, and one small bag containing a crystal like substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine.

        Michiko Henderson- On Sept. 1, Michiko Henderson, 22, Tulsa, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a class C felony of forgery. Bond is set at $5000 cash only.

            The warrant stems from an investigation in Nov. 2013, when a St. Clair County deputy responded to Hawthorn Bank in Osceola, for a report of fraud. The bank manager advised that Amanda Roberts and Michiko Henderson brought in two checks from Wheeler & Sons Livestock Auction. Both females tried to cash checks with false names and identifications. While speaking with the females, the deputy noticed that Henderson had three driver licenses with three different names. Both females were arrested and a request for prosecution was signed.

              Report of Assault and property damage in Osceola

                On Aug. 28, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Carol Bealer in regards to an assault and property damage that occurred on Aug. 26. Bealer stated that when she and a paper server tried to serve papers to Paul Robertson, he became upset and grabbed a weed eater, started it, and came towards Bealer with it. She reported that Robertson raised the weed eater at her face. Bealer also reported that Robertson hit her car two times with the weed eater.

            Bealer stated that when they were in the car and trying to leave the property, Robertson had got onto an ATV and rammed her car twice while going down the driveway.

            Another suspect had came down the road and threatened to get a gun. When the second suspect passed the vehicle, they spun their tires and threw gravel all over the car.

            Suspects have been named and a request for prosecution has been filed.
