Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made two warrant arrests during the week of July 31-Aug. 7, 2017. There was also nine Court Case Updates.

Felicia Love-On Aug. 4, Felicia Love, 27, Osceola, was arrested in St. Clair County on three Bates County warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on class D misdemeanor driving while revoked, class D misdemeanor no insurance, and a class C misdemeanor of exceeding the posted speed limit by six to 10 miles per hour. Total bond is set at $1,750 cash or surety. The warrants were issued on April 28 and stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on Jan 23.

Jacob Hudgens- On Aug. 3, Jacob Hudgens, 40, Wheatland, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation in the early morning hours the same day when a deputy was patrolling on NE 50 Road, Osceola, and noticed a vehicle parked off the roadway in the grass with a male subject standing outside the vehicle.
While speaking to the male subject two additional subjects emerged from a nearby creek bed. One of those individuals was Hudgens. During the investigation a small clear plastic bag containing a white crystal substance was located in a pack of cigarettes in Hudgens’ pocket. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Stealing report taken
On Aug. 4, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report from Viviana Chavarria. She reported she was told an individual was at her property on NE 601 Road, Osceola, removing items from a trailer that belonged to her. Chavarria stated a white basket containing jewelry, a purse, and two boxes of clothes was missing. The estimated value of the items totaled $5,000. A suspect was named.
