Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made one warrant arrest and took a report of property damage and stealing during the first part of the week May 29-June 2, 2017. The sheriff reminded citizens of the “Click It or Ticket” enforcement ongoing through June 4.
Eaton and Case sought for questioning

Law enforcement from St. Clair and Hickory counties are seeking Jerry Eaton, 45, Osceola, and Shanna Case, 44, Collins, for questioning after failing to yield to law enforcement during the morning hours on May 17. Lawn mower reported
stolen in Appleton City
On June 1, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report on Fourth Street, Appleton City. Richard Souders reported his red Troy Bilt lawnmower was stolen off his property in Appleton City. The value of the mower was estimated at $1,800. Suspects were named.
Property damage reported
to vehicle in Lowy City
On June 1, St. Clair County deputies took a property damage report in Lowry City. Stephanie Roberts reported someone etched letters into the hood of her 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. A suspect was named.

Warrant arrests

Jay Buck- On May 30, Jay Buck, 39, Kansas City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants. Buck is charged with probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Feb. 17 and bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charge stems from St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Jan. 27, 2016 when a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop for speeding on Highway 13 near Collins. During the investigation a glass pipe and digital scales were found in Buck’s vehicle. The items field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Buck was also arrested on a warrant for failing to pay fines on an original class B misdemeanor charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 20-25 miles-per-hour. The warrant was issued on Dec. 16, 2016. Bond is set at $245 cash only. The original charge stems from the same investigation on Jan. 27, 2016.
