St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler reported his office is seeking the public’s assistance locating a vehicle that fled from deputies this morning at approximately 7:15 a.m. near the Gerster area. The vehicle is a blue or black 1992 Dodge Dakota with front-end damage and possibly missing a hubcap. It is stolen out of Henry County and has a license plate of Missouri 8KY274, but it does not belong to this vehicle.
The vehicle failed to yield to law enforcement officers in Hickory County and traveled into St. Clair County near T Highway. The vehicle failed to yield to St. Clair County deputies and travelled onto several county and private roads before evading law enforcement.
*****UPDATE*** On May 17, 2017 at approximately noon deputies located the vehicle near SE 276 Road, Osceola. Deputies are now looking for possibly two suspects, one male wearing camouflage and a female with grey shorts and a grey shirt, near SE 1251 Road and TT Highway.
