News updates from St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office April 24-28, 2017

          Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made seven warrant arrests during the first part of the week April 24-28, 2017.

Richard Franks III

            Richard Franks III- On April 27, Richard Franks III, 21, Overland Park, Kan., was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging him with class A misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and failing to appear in court on an infraction of failing to display plates. The warrants were issued on March 22 and total bond is set at $688.50. The charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on Dec. 12, 2016.

             Justin Ward- On April 27, Justin Ward, 26, Bolivar, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked and an infraction of no seat belt. The warrants were issued on March 20 and total bond is set at $760 cash only. The charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on Jan. 8.misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and failing to appear in court on an infraction of failing to display plates. The warrants were issued on March 22 and total bond is set at $688.50. The charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on Dec. 12, 2016.

            Daniel Infranca- On April 26, Daniel Infranca, 44, Grain Valley, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and class A misdemeanor driving while suspended. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

            The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation during the early morning hours the same day when a deputy was dispatched to NE 201 Road at Highway 13, Lowry City, in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road.

            During the investigation contact was made with the driver, Infranca. He stated he parked on the side of the road due to the storm. Further investigation discovered an eye wear case hidden next to the engine compartment under the hood. A used, partial broken clear glass smoking pipe which field tested positive for methamphetamine was found inside the case along with other drug paraphernalia. A check of his driver’s status revealed Infrancal’s license is suspended for nonpayment of child support.

David Faulkner II

           David Faulkner II- On April 26, David Faulkner II, 31, Osceola, was arrested on a Lowry City Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on an ordinance violation for expired license. The warrant was issued on Nov. 24, 2015 and bond is set at $225 cash only.

            Stephanie Nerkeliunas (no photo)- On April 26, Stephanie Nerkeliunas, 41, Springfield, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Polk County warrant charging her with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. The charge stems from a Bolivar Police Department investigation. She was transported to the Polk County line and released to the custody of Bolivar Police Department.

            Keith Bailey- On April 25, Keith Bailey, 32, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrant was issued the same day and bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

            The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force investigation the previous day at Bailey’s residence on East Third Street, Appleton City. During the investigation marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine were located.

Alisha Ward

            Alisha Ward- On April 25, Alisha Ward, 27, Appleton City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging her with failing to pay fines on ordinance violations of driving without a license and no insurance. The warrants were issued on Sept. 20, 2016 and total bond is set at $400 cash only. The charges stems from an Appleton City Police Department investigation May 19, 2016.
