           Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made three warrant arrests and took reports of trash being dumped, assault, and shoplifting during the week of Jan. 9-16.

Trash dumped on NE 800 Road, Lowry City

            On Jan. 16, a St. Clair County deputy took a report in reference to trash being dumped on NE 800 Road, Lowry City. Mel Foreman reported during the last few days someone had thrown at least seven large black garbage bags full of trash over the bridge into the water. The deputy and Foreman collected most of the bags. During the investigation a name and address of an individual in Lowry City was discovered in the trash. Contact was made with the individual who advised another person living with them hauled off multiple bags of trash earlier. The suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Fight reported on SE 951 Road, Collins

            On Jan. 14, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a residence on SE 951 Road, Collins, in reference to a physical disturbance. A female victim reported another female pushed her during an argument. She stated the female put her hands around her neck and started chocking her. The female threatened she was going to kill her. It was noted the female threw multiple items and broke them. Red marks and small scratches were noticed on the female’s face. One female was taken into custody and later released pending formal charges.

Shoplifter reported at Dollar General, Lowry City

            On Jan. 13, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Dollar General, Lowry City, in reference to a theft. Store Manager Clisty Gibson reported two females entered the store and one of them left with at least three items not paid for. Items stolen included a bottle of soda, head phones, and a t-shirt. The total of the items was estimated at $25. A request for prosecution was signed.

            Later the same day deputies made contact with one of the females and admissions were made to stealing the items. Some of the items were recovered. The female was taken into custody and later released pending a formal charge.

Warrant arrests

Darrell Bledsoe

            Darrell Bledsoe- On Jan. 13, Darrell Bledsoe, 43, La Monte, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B misdemeanor failing to register a motor vehicle. Bond is set at $122 cash only. The charge stems from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in June 2016.

Zachary Dewey

            Zachary Dewey- On Jan. 10, Zachary Dewey, 28, Branson, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on Appleton City municipal warrants charging him with ordinance violations for driving while revoked and displaying plates of another, ordinance violation. Total bond is set at $ 1,000 cash or surety.

Shelby Webster

            Shelby Webster- On Jan. 12, Shelby Webster, 43, Buffalo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony non-support-total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set at $1,500 cash only.
