Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made three warrant arrests during the week of Nov. 7-14.
Warrant arrests
Chevy Ashbaker- On Nov. 13, Chevy Ashbaker, 18, Sheldon, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with three counts of class C felony arson second degree. Bond is set at $30,000 cash only. The charges stem from investigation that started on Sept. 16 when St. Clair

County deputies were called to three suspicious fires in the Taberville area. Deputies took initial reports and the investigations were turned over to the Missouri State Fire Marshal.
Kristina Courtemanche- On Nov. 10, Kristina Courtemanche, 39, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor on domestic assault third degree. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.

The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation the previous day when deputies responded to a residence on Beech Street, Appleton City, in reference to an assault. During the investigation it was discovered Courtemanche charged at a male juvenile and knocked him to the floor causing an injury to his wrist. The juvenile’s mother, Pamela Mealman, stepped between the two and was punched in the head. Courtemanche and Mealman are living together at the residence as domestic partners.
Jason Greenwell- On Nov. 8, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Jason Greenwell, 41, Deepwater, at Casey's General Store in Appleton City on a Henry County warrant for probation violation on an original class C felony domestic assault. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The warrant was issued on Sept. 30 and stems from an original incident in April 2012.

Mitchell Gibbs- On Nov. 10, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Mitchell Gibbs, 25, Joplin, charging him with probation revocation on an original class C felony charge of passing bad checks. Bond is set at $494.50 cash only. The original charge stems from an incident in July 2013.

John Mead- On Nov. 9, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for John Mead, 47, Clinton, charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The charge stems from an investigation on Oct. 16 when a St. Clair County deputy was called to assist Missouri Department of Conservation Agent Zeb Jordan who had made contact with Mead at the King's Prairie Conservation Area on Highway T. A partially smoked marijuana cigarette was noticed lying in the front seat of Mead’s vehicle. During the investigation 36 grams of marijuana were located in Mead’s vehicle. The marijuana was divided into five glass containers inside a black bag under the driver's seat. A wooden container with marijuana residue was also located.
