         Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies have made three warrant arrests and took reports of burglary and stealing during the first part of the week of Oct. 11-14.

Warrant arrest

            Ricky Sherlin- On Oct. 14, Ricky Sherlin Jr., 36, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor domestic assault-third degree. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety.

            The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Sept. 14 on NE 151 Road, Osceola. A female victim stated Sherlin  threw an item at her, chest bumped her, pushed her into a corner of the house, grabbed her by her throat and banged her head into the wall.  The victim stated she got away from Sherlin, and he ran after her jumping over a recliner, knocking it over, and knocking pictures off the wall.

           Camille Prentice- On Oct. 13, Camille Prentice, 27, Kansas City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.

            The original charge stems from an incident in May 2013 when Prentice was arrested in Lowry City on a warrant from Lee Summit Police Department. Prior to entering the jail, Prentice admitted to having a pipe in her possession. A pipe with a white powder residue inside was located in her jacket. The residue field tested positive for methamphetamine.

            In October 2014, Prentice plead guilty to the charge and the imposition of sentence was suspended and she was placed on five years supervised probation.

             Helen Lee- On Oct. 11, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Helen Lee, 44, Osceola, on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class C felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor driving without a license, and class C misdemeanor speeding six to ten miles per hour over. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation the day before.

Burglary reported on U Highway

            On Oct. 12, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on NE Hwy U, Osceola. Tim and Lori Corbin reported their residence was broke into and several items were missing. The items missing include a 55-inch television, an Asus laptop computer, a Nikon D7100 camera, a photography backdrop with lights, 10 to 12 SD cards, a wireless shutter release, and extra lens. An estimated value of the items missing was not yet available. Evidence was located at the scene.

Rifle stolen from Jeep in Appleton City

            On Oct. 12, a St. Clair County deputy took a report on West Fifth Street, Appleton City, in reference to a stolen firearm. Tony Bracher reported a bolt action Savage B-Mag WSM 17 with a stainless steel barrel with a scope stolen from his Jeep. The value of the rifle was estimated at $400.

              Jacob Harper-On Oct. 11, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Jacob Harper, 26, Osceola, charging him with class D felony driving while revoked. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Feb. 4 when a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle Harper was driving. A check revealed Harper’s driving privileges were suspended and he has had eight other driving while suspended or revoked convictions.

            Robby Primeau- On Oct. 11, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Robby Primeau, 38, Osceola, charging him with class D felony driving while revoked and misdemeanor no insurance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on July 25 when a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle Primeau was driving.
