Safe and Sober program held in Appleton City

On Sept. 21, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies visited students at Appleton City High School to present a program on the dangers of driving while intoxicated and the importance of being safe and sober on the roadways. The program consisted of an obstacle course using pedals cars, games and test that are similar to sobriety checks. Through the activities, students learned how alcohol and drugs can impair your sight, balance, hand and eye coordination.
