On Sept. 19 Buckle Buddy made visits to students at Roscoe, Osceola, Appleton City and Lakeland Schools in conjunction with Child Passenger Safety Week. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Detective Jarrod Sherrer and School Resource Office Brad Saddoris escorted Buckle Buddy to the area schools to teach about seat belt safety.

            The program was designed to be educational, interactive and fun. Students learned about booster seats and safety belts. They learned the "Buckle Buddy Song", and read the "Buckle Buddy Story" and students received an activity book and stickers to take home.
