         Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made six warrant arrests, took two reports of burglary, and a property damage report during the week of Aug. 22-29. He reminds citizens of the annual nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown running through Sep. 5.

Felony warrant arrests

Geanna Allen

           Geanna Allen- On Aug. 29, Geanna Allen, 54, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony driving while revoked. Bond is set at $4,500 cash or surety. The charge stems from an incident the previous day when Allen was observed operating a motor vehicle on the city streets, state highway, and county roads of St. Clair County. The deputy was familiar with Allen and aware she did not have valid operator's license. Allen was taken into custody after a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle she was driving.

Marcus Balthrope

         Marcus Balthrope- On Aug. 29, Marcus Balthrope, 34, Appleton City was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on three warrants for probation violations. A St. Clair County warrant charges him with a probation violation on an original class C felony charge of driving while intoxicated-alcohol-aggravated offender and class D felony driving while revoked. The warrant was issued on June 10. The original charges stems from Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in May 2013. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. Another warrant is from Bates County and charges him with a probation violation on an original class D felony charge of resisting arrest. The warrant was issued June 10. The original charge stems from an investigation in Bates County in May 2013. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The third warrant was issued by probation and parole and there is no bond set.

Randy Johnson

            Randy Johnson- On Aug. 26, a St. Clair County deputy arrested Randy Johnson, 56, Osceola, on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with two felony charges: class B felony distribution, delivery, manufacture or production of a controlled substance or attempt to or possess with intent to and class D felony unlawful use of a weapon-possessing a weapon and a controlled substance. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation the previous day.

Misdemeanor warrant arrests

Darrell Link

           Darrell Link- On Aug. 29, Darrell Link, 31, Nevada, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor non support. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. The warrant was issued on Aug. 10.

            David Neal (No photo)- On Aug. 30, a deputy arrested David Neal, 26, Garden City, in St. Clair County on a active warrant from the Bolivar Police Department for failing to appear in court on a charge of no insurance. Bond is set at $150 cash only. A county line transfer was set up and custody of Neal was transferred to Bolivar Police Department.

            Andrea Chavis-Martin- On Aug. 27, Andrea Chavis-Martin, 22, Edwardville, Ill, was arrested at the St. Clair County Jail on two Crawford County warrants on misdemeanor charges of exceeding the posted speed limit by 11-15 miles-per-hour and operating a vehicle on highway without a valid driver’s license. Total bond is set at $300 cash only.

            Sara Seedyk (No photo)- On Aug. 18, Sara Seedyk, 17, Lowry City, was arrested in Benton County on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor assault third degree. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety. The charge stems from an incident on July 28 when deputies responded to Lowry City, in reference to an assault that occurred on North Burdette Street. A female victim reported Seedyk struck her in the face, pushed her on the bed and began choking her.

           Victoria Lacoy- On Aug. 25, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Victoria Lacoy, 36, Kansas City, charging her with probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charge stems from a Lowry City Police Department investigation in October 2015.

Property damage reported on NW 551 Road

                On Aug. 29, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report from Scott Moore. He reported someone broke a window out of his Ford Ranger while it was sitting in his driveway at his residence on NW 551 Road, Montrose.

Burglary on NE 151 Road

            On Aug. 28, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on NE 151 Road, Osceola. Larry Gross reported someone forced entry into his house and shed and stole two trolling motors, a .22 caliber single shot rifle, two tow chains, an axe, two coats, and several shirts. The items and damage was estimated at $500.

Burglary reported in Lowry City

On Aug. 25, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on South Blane Street, Lowry City. Don Woodrome reported someone stole $9,000 cash from a safe at his residence. He said he is also missing the key to the safe. A suspect was named.
