Kayne Gonzales

Kayne Gonzales- On July 28, Kayne Gonzales, 20, Lowry City, was arrested on a no bond St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation in several cases. Gonzales is currently on probation for class B felony assault-first degree from a Lowry City Police Department investigation in August 2014.

He is also on probation for class C felony domestic assault-second degree and a misdemeanor charge of property damage-second degree. The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 24, 2014, when St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault on NE 700 Road, Lowry City. Gonzales allegedly punched an individual in the face after kicking the door in and entering the residence without permission.

Disclaimer: Arrest records are public information. Any indication of an arrest does not mean the individual identified has been convicted of a crime. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Rifle reported stolen

On July 27, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report on 1425 Road, Weaubleau. Ramona King reported a Winchester Model 94 .32 special lever action rifle stolen from her residence. A suspect was named.

Tablet reported stolen

On July 27, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report at Ellett Memorial Hospital, Appleton City. An employee, Bruce Goddard, reported a Samsung Galaxy Tab-4, 10.1 with black case stolen from a desk he had been sitting at. The tablet was estimated at $500. A suspect was named and the case was forwarded to the Appleton City Police Department for investigation.

Arrest warrant issued

Trent Lewis- On July 28, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Trent Lewis, 22, Rockville, charging him with class A misdemeanor theft. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety.

The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on July 11 when Lewis, an employee of Casey's General Store, made a safe drop with no money attached to it. Video surveillance showed Lewis make a drop and then place the ticket and money on the drawer. Lewis then covered up the money on the drawer with his cell phone and a few minutes later he picked up his cell phone along with the money and put it into his pocket. His drawer was short $150 for the shift.

Billy Prater- On July 26, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Billy Prater, 17, Appleton City, charging him with class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and unclassified misdemeanor possession of liquor by a minor. Bond is set at $3,000 cash or surety.

The charges stem from a traffic stop on NW H Highway, Appleton City, in the early morning hours on July 9. Prater was driving the vehicle. During the investigation it was determined Prater was driving while intoxicated and in the back seat of the vehicle a box containing several unopened cans of Keystone Light Beer were located.

Matthew Munson- On July 21, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Matthew Munson, 28, Strafford, charging him with failing to appear in court on class A misdemeanor passing bad checks. Bond is set at $500 cash only. The original charge stems from an incident in January 2014.

Sheriff Keeler urges those with any information related to the location of these individuals to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line, 417-646-5832, or email to tips@scsomo.org.
