St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made six warrant arrests and took reports of theft and burglary during the week of May 30-June 6.
Warrant arrests
Christopher Gurley- On June 4,

Christopher Gurley, 33, Appleton City, was arrested on St. Clair County warrant number charging him with two class A misdemeanors, violation of an order of protection and resisting arrest. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety. The charges stem from an incident the same day when deputies served an order of protection and Gurley refused to leave the property and resisted arrest.

Timothy Long- On June 4, Timothy Long, 58, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B felony driving while intoxicated-chronic offender and class D felony driving while revoked. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in March.

Thomas Edwards- On June 3, Thomas Edwards, 44, Roscoe, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.
The original charges stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation in April 2013 when members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force were at a residence on TT Highway. During the investigation a glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine was located in Thomas’ possession.

Katie Ticknor- On June 1, Katie Ticknor, 32, Marshall, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with two class C felony counts of possessing a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
The charges stem from an incident the previous day when St. Clair County deputies assisted Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division with an investigation on South Lucas Street, Lowry City. During the investigation a glass light bulb commonly used for smoking methamphetamines was located and field tested positive for methamphetamine. A cardboard box containing a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, 11 Alprazolam pills, a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamines, and several items of drug paraphernalia was also located. Ticknor, who was a guest at the residence, stated the items belonged to her.
Ticknor was also arrested on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of stealing. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

Krista Itsen- On June 1, Krista Itzen, 26, Osceola, was arrested on NW 40 Road, Osceola, on a no bond probation and parole warrant.

Nicholas Himmelberg-On June 1, Nicholas Himmelberg, 34, Willard, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on two warrants from Polk County. Himmelberg was arrested on a no bond felony warrant for a probation violation, and failing to appear in court on original misdemeanor charges of no seat belt, and no valid operator’s license. Bond on the misdemeanor charges is set at $114.50.

Truck and other items reported stolen
On June 5, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE 533 Private Road, Osceola, in reference to a stolen vehicle. Kenneth Taylor reported an individual took his maroon 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck without permission. Taylor stated his 17-year-old foster son took the truck in the early morning hours and left a note stating his reasons. The value of the truck was estimated at $5,500. Other items missing from Taylor’s residence included camping supplies, dry storage food, flashlights, and batteries.
Burglary reported on NE 151 Road
On June 1, a St. Clair County deputy responded to NE 151 Road, Lowry City, to take a burglary report. Brenda Brooks reported several power tools missing from her garage. The missing items included several saws and a drill.
Burglary reported on SE T Highway
On June 1, a St. Clair deputy took a burglary report on SE T Highway, Osceola. Norman Botwinik reported several items missing related to a solar charging system. Items missing included a charger, two batteries and a power inverter. The value of the items was estimated at $768.94.
Attempted burglary at River’s Edge Bar and Grill
On June 1, a St. Clair County deputy responded to an alarm call at the River’s Edge Bar and Grill, SW Pence Ave., Roscoe. During the investigation a window covering was located that appeared to be pried open and the glass broken out. The owner, Delinda Hart, arrived on scene and the building was checked. Nothing appeared to be missing or tampered with. Damage was estimated at $150.

On June 2, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Cody McGraw, 31, Warrensburg, charging him with probation violation on four original class C felony counts of passing a bad check.-$500 or more. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charges stem from incidents in November 2013.
