Osceola man arrested
on felony drug charge
Patrick Lessley- On April 19, Patrick Lessley, 55. Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

The charge stems from an investigation the previous day when St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force made contact with Lessley at his home on SE 269 Private Road, Osceola, in reference to illegal drug activity. During the investigation several items of drug paraphernalia were located including a straw and pipe that contained a white powder. The powder field tested positive for methamphetamine. Lessley was taken into custody and transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending the formal charge.

Erika Bootier- On April 21, Erika Bootier, 23, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on four original class C felony charges of forgery. The warrant was issued on April 4 and bond is set at $10,000.00 cash only. The original charges stem from incidents in December 2014 when Bootier cashed four checks that were stolen from an individual.

Alexander Hartlain- On April 21, Alexander Hartlain, 23, Springfield, was arrested in Lowry City on a Pleasant Hope Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on an original ordinance violation of expired plates. Bond is set at $300 cash only.

Kyle Brashear- On April 19, Kyle Brashear, 18, Kansas City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of possession marijuana and an infraction of no seat belt. The warrant was issued on March 28 and bond is set at $2,510 cash only. The charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on Jan. 8.

Clint Robinson- On April 19, Clint Robinson, 35, Baldwin City, Kan., was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony nonsupport-total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. The warrant was issued on March 31 and bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

Ronald Botteron- On April 21, formal charges were filed in St. Clair County on Ronald Botteron, 46, Osceola. Botteron is charged with two class A misdemeanors, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and an unclassified misdemeanor of driving while suspended. The charges stem from an investigation on April 12 when a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle Botteron was driving. During the investigation marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. It was also determined Botteron’s driver’s license was suspended. Botteron was taken into custody and later released pending the formal charges.

Kyle Loebig- On April 20, formal charges were filed in St. Clair County on Kyle Loebig, 25, Yuma, Colo. Loebig is charged with two class A misdemeanor counts, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from an investigation on April 8 when a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Loebig was a passenger in. During the investigation drug paraphernalia and marijuana were located in the vehicle.

Weston Gibson- On April 21, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for the driver of the vehicle, Weston Gibson, 27, Alma, Neb. Gibson is charged with three misdemeanor counts, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and driving while intoxicated-alcohol. During the investigation it was determined Gibson was intoxicated. Both men were taken into custody after the incident and later released pending the formal charges.

Chad Cooper- On April 20, formal charges were filed in St. Clair County on Chad Cooper, 26, Oak Grove. Cooper is charged with class A misdemeanor driving while intoxicated-prior offender and class B misdemeanor failure to register a motor vehicle. The charges stem from an investigation on April 6 when a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Cooper was driving. During the investigation it was determined Cooper was intoxicated and driving a vehicle that was not registered. He was taken into custody and later released pending the formal charge.
