Sheriff Scott Keeler reported on Monday, March 21, Chelestia Strickler, a 16-year-old female reported missing from her residence, was located in Houston, Texas. On March 19, Strickler’s uncle, who she lives with on SW 1161 Road, Rockville, reported her missing. He said he and his wife left for less than an hour and when they returned she was gone.

     During the investigation information was obtained Strickler had plans to runaway and a tip was received Strickler was traveling to Texas. Contact was made with Houston Police Department who located her and confirmed she was safe. Strickler was released into the care and custody of an immediate family member.
