St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office News Release for Jan. 11-18, 2016

     St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made five warrant arrests and took reports of burglary, property damage, and during the week of Jan. 11-18.

Burglary and property damage reported on NE 779 Road

     On Jan. 18, a St. Clair County deputy took a report of burglary and property damage on NE 779 Road, Lowry City. Brent Shoemaker reported a lever action Marlin 30-30 rifle missing from his residence. The value was estimated at $350. Shoemaker also reported his Dodge truck was vandalized with eggs. A suspect was named.

Vehicle reported stolen

     On Jan. 17, a St. Clair County deputy took a report in reference to a vehicle stolen on NW 751 Road, Osceola. Heather Carpenter of Appleton City reported she was driving and her vehicle broke down. Carpenter said she left the vehicle and came back the next day and it was gone. The vehicle was described as a black 2006 Honda Accord, four door and the value was estimated at $3,000.

Damage to mailbox in Collins

     On Jan. 15, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report on UU Highway, Collins. Cheryl Gerry reported damage to a mailbox.

Arrest warrant issued

     On Jan. 13, a St. Clair County arrest warrant was issued for Robert O’Rourke, 29, Springfield, for a probation violation on an original charge of burglary second degree from an incident in January 2005. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only. Sheriff Keeler urges those with any information related to the location of O’Rourke to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line, 417-646-5832, or email to tips@scsomo.org.

Warrant arrests

Kelly Spear

     Kelly Spear- On Jan. 18, Kelly Spear, 40, Lowry City, was arrested in Lowry City on a Gentry County warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor interference with custody. The warrant was issued on Jan. 17 and stems from an incident on Jan. 14. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

Wendy Surber

     Wendy Surber- On Jan. 16, Wendy Surber, 52, Osceola, was arrested on outstanding warrants from St. Clair County and Henry County. The warrants were for probation violations on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance. Total bond is set at $10,000 cash only. The original St. Clair County charge was from an incident in October 2013 and the Henry County charge was from a Clinton Police Department investigation in December 2010.

Estella Santos

     Estella Santos- On Jan. 15, Estella Santos, 22, Ozark, was arrested in Osceola on a warrant from McDonald County for failing to appear in court on an original class C misdemeanor charge of exceeding the posted speed limit. The charge stems from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in May 2015. Bond is set at $100 cash only.

Tiffany Childress

     Tiffany Childress- On Jan. 15, Tiffany Childress, 26, Springfield, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of driving while revoked and exceeding the posted speed limit. The charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation in July. Total bond is set at $968 cash only.

Matthew Roberts

     Matthew Roberts- On Jan. 13, Matthew Roberts, 35, Weaubleau, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for a seat belt violation. The arrest came after a traffic stop in St. Clair County. Bond was set at $50 cash only.
