St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies took reports of stealing, property damage and domestic assault during the week of Dec. 28-Jan. 4.
Two arrested on felony charges for
stealing and property damage

On Jan. 1, Dillon Bennett, 32, and Lauren Crawford, 28, both from El Dorado Springs, were arrested on St. Clair County warrants charging them each with class C felony burglary second degree and class D felony property damage first degree. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety in each case. The charges stem from an incident the day before when St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to a residence on SW 101 Road in reference to a stealing in progress. The property is owned by David Lile and the residence was recently destroyed by fire.

Deputies arrived on scene and located Bennett and Crawford sitting in a truck filled with metal scrap items taken from the structure. The investigation revealed the individuals did not have permission to be on the property. The owner arrived on scene and identified the items and advised a metal outbuilding that was not damaged by the fire was also missing from the property. He noted the metal in the back of the truck was from the missing building. Items that were inside the building were found beside the truck. Damage to the building was estimated at $1,500 and the value of the items taken was estimated at $1,000.
Osceola man arrested on felony charges

On Jan. 1, Robert Scrogham, 35, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony domestic assault second degree and class C felony possession of controlled substance. Total bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued the same day and stems from an incident on Dec. 31 when St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call on NW Center Road, Lowry City. The investigation revealed Scrogham allegedly physically assaulted a juvenile family member. Scrogham was placed under arrest and a search of his personal belongings revealed a syringe that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Ashley Cameron- On Jan. 4, Ashley Cameron, 28, Dadeville, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class D felony non support. Bond is set at $500 cash only. The warrant was issued in October 2013.
Tommy Davidson Jr.- On Jan. 2, Tommy Davidson Jr., 35, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant, a Henry County warrant, and a Clinton Police Department warrant. In St. Clair County Davidson is charging him with class D felony sale/possession of equipment or parts with altered identification numbers. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Dec. 16 and stems from an investigation on June 28 when a St. Clair County deputy located a motorcycle in a garage in Twin Oaks Harbor, Lowry City, with a vehicle identification number that was not visible.

The Henry County warrant charges Davidson with class C felony receiving stolen property. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only. The warrant was issued on Dec. 14 and stems from an incident on July 24, 2014.
The Clinton Police Department warrant charges Davidson with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $964 cash only.

Allen Sharp- On Jan. 1, Allen Sharp, 43, Humansville, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Lawrence County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class D felony stealing charge. Bond is set at $4,900 cash only. The warrant was issued on Dec. 11 and stems from an incident in January 2015.

Kristy Lalonde- On Dec. 31, Kristy Lalonde, 34, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a speeding violation from Osceola Police Department. Bond is set at $300 cash only. The warrant was issued on Nov. 24 and stems from an incident on Sept. 16.

Candis Greer- On Dec. 28, Candis Greer, 33, Humansville, was arrested on four Polk County warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of no valid license, no insurance, no seat belt, and failure to display plates. The total bond is set at $800 cash only.
