St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made one warrant arrest, took reports of property damage and stealing during the week of Dec. 21-28.
Property damage on NW 400 Road
On Dec. 27, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report on NW 400 Road, Rockville. Kimberly and Richard Jones reported someone moved their orange farm tractor against a 1986 Buick sedan also owned by them. They explained the tractor pushed into and slid the front end of the Buick a couple of feet.
Property damage on NE 726 Road
On Dec. 26, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report on NE 726 Road, Lowry City. David Smith reported someone entered his property and cut the connecting rod between fence posts and removed the posts from the ground to gain access to the adjoining property. A suspect was named.
Kayaks reported stolen in Collins
On Dec. 23, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on South 17th Street, Collins. Jakob Kauffman reported two kayaks missing from a detached garage on property owned by his mother-in-law, Betty Dodds. He described the kayaks as 10-foor 4-inches long, Viper brand, ride in style kayaks. One of the kayaks was blue and one was yellow. The total value of the kayaks was estimated at $600.

Micky Kottwitz- On Dec. 23, Micky Kottwitz, 40, Osceola, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000. The charge stems from an incident on Aug. 28 at a residence on NE 471 Road, Osceola. During the investigation, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force discovered paraphernalia that field test positive methamphetamine in Kottwitz’s possession.
