St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made three warrant arrests and took reports of property damage and burglary during the week of Dec. 7-14.
Property damage to a vehicle
On Dec. 13, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report from Jerad Jurgensmeyer. He stated his vehicle was damaged with a beer bottle on Dec. 12 at the VFW on TT Highway, Osceola. He stated an individual threw the bottle at his vehicle. A suspect was named.
Property damage to a mailbox
On Dec. 12, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report on UU Highway, Collins. Cheryl Gerry reported she heard a loud explosion during the early morning hours. In the morning she discovered someone destroyed her mailbox with an exploding device.
Burglary complaint
On Dec. 9, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary complaint on South Lucas Street, Lowry City. Jacquelyn Robinson and Richard Hood reported items missing from their home. Items missing include a NFX full face motorcycle helmet and a black Compact Presario laptop computer. The total value of the items was estimated at $800. The case was forwarded to the Lowry City Police Department for further investigation.

Arrest warrant issued

On Dec. 7, A St. Clair County arrest warrant was issued for Micky Kottwitz, 40, Osceola, charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from an incident on Aug. 28 at a residence on NE 471 Road, Osceola. During the investigation, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force discovered a soda can that field test positive methamphetamine in Kottwitz’s possession.

Steven Weess- On Dec. 10, Steven Weess, 25, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B felony possession of child pornography. Bond is set at $35,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from a Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force investigation on Oct. 14 when Weess allegedly possessed child pornography.

Jessica Thomas- On Dec. 10, Jessica Thomas, 22, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation on an original class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charge stems from an incident in August 2012.

Charles Tigner- On Dec. 8, Charles Tigner, 53, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony receiving stolen property. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from an investigation on June 14 when St. Clair County deputies took a stealing complaint on SW 815 Road, Tiffin. Kathy Harra reported a truck toolbox missing. She said the box was aluminum diamond plate and noted a cordless electric drill, two drill battery chargers and random plumbing equipment were located inside the toolbox. The total value of the box and its contents was estimated at $700. During the investigation the tool box was located in Tigner’s truck.
