St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made nine warrant arrests and took a report of stealing during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 7.

David Vanlue- On Dec. 7, David Vanlue, 27, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class A felony assault on a law enforcement officer. Bond is set at $100,000 cash only. The charge stems from a Lowry City Police Department investigation on Nov. 27. Vanlue has been in custody since Nov. 28 on a parole violation with bond set at $5,000 cash only.

Cassandra King- On Dec. 7, Cassandra King, 25, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on an original class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
The original charge stems from an investigation on Dec. 28, 2014 by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force. King was found to be in possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle she was a passenger in.

Susan (Mitchell) Singleton- On Dec. 7, Susan (Mitchell) Singleton, 51, Independence, was arrested in Osceola on a class B felony charge of elder abuse-second degree. The warrant was issued on Dec. 4 and bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Nov. 26 in Twin Oaks Harbor, Lowry City. Singleton allegedly assaulted a 73 year-old female causing serious physical injury.

Dixie White- On Dec. 7, Dixie White, 24, Kansas City, was arrested on two St. Clair County misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on original charges of driving while revoked/suspended-first offense and exceeding the posted speed limit by 20 - 25 miles per hour. Total bond is set at $1,000 cash only. The warrants were issued in Sept. 2012 and stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in April 2012.

Rhonda Scott- On Dec. 7, Rhonda Scott, 49, Springfield, was arrested in Osceola on two St. Clair County misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on original charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and exceeded the posted speed limit by 16-19 miles per hour. Total bond is set at $800 cash only. The warrants were issued on Nov. 24 and stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in April.

Lucas Santellano- On Dec. 4, Lucas Santellano, 19, Osceola, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor theft/stealing. The warrant was issued on Dec. 3 and bond is set at $1,500 cash or surety. The charge stems from an incident on Nov. 5 when a St. Clair County deputy took a report of a stolen mailbox on NE 351 Private Road in Lakeshore Estates, Osceola. Christopher McQueen reported an individual in a truck stopped on the road, picked up his mailbox, threw it in the back of the truck, and sped off. While leaving the area, the deputy noticed an empty post along the road. Further investigation revealed two mailboxes in a ditch.
Lewis Pratz (no photo)-On Dec. 4, Lewis Pratz, 44, Preston, was arrested in Hickory County on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony passing a bad check-$500 or more- no account/insufficient funds. The warrant was issued on Dec. 3 and stems from an incident on Aug. 18. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Robert Brison- On Dec. 4, Robert Brison, 51, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony forgery and class A misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit device. The warrant was issued the same day and bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The forgery charge stems from an incident in October and the fraudulent use of a credit device charge stems from an incident in November. On Nov. 24, St. Clair County deputies took a report from Evelyn Schroer in reference to two credit cards being activated in her name and maxed out to the limit. She also reported a $300 debit transaction that was not authorized and a check written to her son, Brison, for $25 was altered to $125. Schroer’s total loss was estimated at $2,114.60. She advised a recent credit check discovered another credit card in her name also.

Cynthia Chaluisant- On Dec. 2, Cynthia Chaluisant, 36, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Nov. 30. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charge stems from an incident on April 26, 2013.

Criminal summons issued
On Dec. 3, a criminal summons was issued for Bob Rhodes, 35, Osceola, charging him with class B misdemeanor making a false report. The charge stems from an incident on Nov. 13 when a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Rhodes in reference to a silver 2002 Dodge Intrepid stolen from his residence on NE 251 Road, Osceola. The investigation revealed Rhodes provided false information with the intention to implicate another person in a crime. The vehicle was involved in an early morning accident on B Highway and Rhodes was identified as the driver. An attempt was made to flee the scene in the vehicle, but it died and would not start. Rhodes left the scene on foot prior to any law enforcement arriving on scene.
Report of stolen chainsaw
On Dec. 4, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report on NE 300 Road, Osceola. Onieta "Jane" Scaife reported a Stihl model MS270 chainsaw missing from a shed. It was noted the chainsaw is owned by Roger Powell. The investigation is ongoing.
