St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office News Release for Sept. 21-28, 2015  

     St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made five warrant arrests during the week of Sept. 21-28.

Jason Hale

     Jason Hale- On Sept. 28, Jason Hale, 40, Harrisonville, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a probation violation. Hale is on probation from original class C felony charges of possessing a controlled substance and possessing chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance from an incident in March 2009. The warrant was issued on Aug. 26 and bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

Anita Shelton

     Anita Shelton- On Sept. 24, Anita Shelton, 36, Lowry City, was arrested at her residence on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on a class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Sept. 23 and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

     The charge stems from an incident on June 4 at her residence on South Griswold, Lowry City. An investigation conducted by St. Clair County deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force discovered bags with a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine located in the residence. On July 2, amended information was filed with the court charging Shelton as prior a offender.

Yancey Saunders

     Yancey and Rebecca Saunders- On Sept. 24, Yancey Saunders, 40, and Rebecca Saunders, 40, both of Osceola, were booked into St. Clair County Jail each charged with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. The warrants were issued on Aug. 28 and bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety in each case. The Saunders’ were originally arrested on the warrants in Jackson County.

     The charges stem from an investigation on Aug. 20 at their residence on SE 665 Road, Osceola. During the investigation St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force discovered several plastic bags with residue and paraphernalia, some of which tested positive for methamphetamine.

Vanessa Barker

Vanessa Barker- On Sept. 23, Vanessa Barker, 35, Lowry City, was arrested in Osceola on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of failing to comply with condition of restricted drivers license (for vision.)The warrant was issued on Sept. 14 and stems from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation on March 17.
