Warrant arrests
 Michael Parmalee |
Michael Parmalee- On Sept. 17, Michael Parmalee, 35, Lowry City, was arrested in Osceola on three outstanding warrants. Parmalee was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for a violation on a class C felony charge of possession of controlled substance, a Clinton Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended, and a Chariton County warrant charging him with misdemeanor driving while revoked. Total bond is set at $3,105 cash only.
Parmalee plead guilty to possessing a controlled substance in March. He was sentenced to serve five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections with the execution of sentencing suspended. He was placed on probation for five years.
The original charge stems from a narcotics investigation in Lowry City in July 2014. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers from the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force found Parmalee to be in possession of a glass pipe containing a white powder that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Michael Stone- On Sept. 17, Michael Stone, 46, Warrensburg, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to pay fines/costs on an original class A misdemeanor of violating an order of protection. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Aug. 10 and the original charge stems from an investigation on March 11 when Stone allegedly contacted a victim by sending text messages when there was an active full order of protection.

Zachary Dewey- On Sept. 16, Zachary Dewey, 26, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C felony charge of violating Missouri Revised Statutes section 578.416 regarding crop loss-value greater than $1,000 but less than $100,000. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Aug. 27 and stems from an incident in October 2014 when Dewey allegedly drove his vehicle into a soybean field on NW 1000 Road. Damage to the field was estimated between $2,500 and $3,000.

Dustin Silvers- On Sept. 15, Dustin Silvers, 33, Collins, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Sept. 11 and stems from an incident on July 19 when a St. Clair County deputy responded to SE 671 Road, Collins, in reference to Silvers’ being assaulted. During the investigation a small plastic bag with white powder residue was located in Silver’s vehicle. The residue field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Clinton Wombles- On Sept. 15, Clinton Wombles, 44, Collins, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony assault-second degree and class C felony felonious restraint. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Sept. 14 and stems from an incident on July 19 when Wombles allegedly assaulted Dustin Silvers with an ax handle, stripped his clothing off and tied him to a porch rail.
Burglary report taken on NE 175 Road
On September 17, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary complaint on NE 175 Road, Osceola. Orval and Jimmie Chrisman reported over the last three months multiple items have came up missing from inside the residence. Items missing include a 100-foot extension cord on reel, POP 18 volt cordless drill, Master Craft brand drill battery and battery charger, JVC camcorder, Chef's Mark brand meat slicer, JVC DVD/VCR player, two Midland camouflage two-way radios, and two homemade beer steins. The total value of the items was estimated at $1,240. Suspects were named and the investigation is ongoing.
Property damage in Rockville
On Sept. 17, a St. Clair County deputy took a property damage report on NW 400 Road, Rockville. Garianna Lesmeister reported both of the rear tires on her 2011 Ford Explorer were flattened and the seats in the vehicle were slashed. A suspect was named and the investigation is ongoing.
