Rory Horne

On July 15, Rory Horne, 47, Buffalo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony of non-support-total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on June 4 and stems from an incident on Aug. 28, 2009.

Report of cattle damaging property

On July 13, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Gary Young in reference to a neighbor’s cattle getting out and roaming on his property off of Highway ZZ. He said the cattle are getting out in different locations and have damaged a 1000 acre clover/fescue field. Young took a photo on July 12 of approximately 50 head of cattle roaming his property and eating the clover and fescue. He noted he has no cattle on the property. A suspect was named and the investigation is ongoing.
