Copper reported stolen
On July 7, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report from an AT&T field technician on NE 1000 Road, Lowry City. The technician reported copper wire and ground bars were stolen from a cell phone tower. He estimated the last time the tower was serviced was December 2014. The total loss was estimated at $1,200.
Canoe reported stolen
On July 6, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report on NE Highway U, Osceola. Jeanine Jacomb reported a green Coleman 14ft fiberglass canoe missing from her yard. The value of the canoe was estimated at $400.
Burglary on NW 101 Road
On July 5, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on NW 101 Road, Lowry City. Naressa Veach reported her house was ransacked and multiple items were stolen. The items included a water heater, two drills, channel lock pliers, bolt cutters, ammo box, television antenna, and multiple cable boxes.

Arraignments scheduled

Larry Shelton Jr. and Anita Shelton- On July 10, an arraignment is scheduled in the St. Clair County Courtroom for Larry Shelton Jr., 35, and Anita Shelton, 36, both of Lowry City. The Shelton’s are each facing a class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance stemming from an incident on June 4 at their residence on South Griswold, Lowry City.
An investigation conducted by St. Clair County deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force discovered bags with a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine located in the residence.
Arrest warrants were issued on June 10 and the two were arrested in Henry County on June 19. On July 2, amended information was filed with the court charging each of them as prior offenders.
Danny Brown- On July 10, an arraignment is scheduled in the St. Clair County Courtroom for Danny Brown, 54, Osceola. Brown is charged with a class C felony of unlawful possession of a firearm stemming from an incident on April 24 at a residence on NE 542 Road, Osceola.
During the investigation it was discovered Brown is a convicted felon in the State of Missouri and had multiple firearms in the residence. The firearms were seized and placed into evidence and a criminal summons was issued on May 13 and served on May 26.
Michael Scott- On July 10, an arraignment is scheduled in the St. Clair County Courtroom for Michael Scott, 53, Milan. Scott is charged with a class C felony of tampering with victim or witness or attempt tampering with victim in a felony prosecution stemming from an incident on April 23 when Scott allegedly contacted a victim in reference to dropping charges in a case. A warrant was issued on June 5. Brown was arrested on the warrant is another jurisdiction.
