St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies responded to several calls for service during the week of June 29-July 6. Several warrant arrests were made and reports of stealing taken.
AC man arrested for felony stealing from Dollar General

On July 2, Jonavon Loney, 23, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C felony of theft/stealing. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
The charge stems from an incident the previous day when a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report at Dollar General, Appleton City. Dollar General Regional Loss Prevention Manager Steve McKinney reported he was reviewing video surveillance of the store and discovered Loney, an employee of Dollar General, stealing from the store. The total loss of the store was estimated at $3,950 from incidents beginning in March 2014 and continuing through June 2015.
Warrant arrest on domestic assault charge

On July 2, Sarissa Loney, 21, Appleton City, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair warrant charging her with class A misdemeanor domestic assault third degree. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety.
The charge stems from an incident the previous day when St. Clair County deputies responded to a residence on South Beech Street, Appleton City, in reference to a disturbance. During the incident, Loney allegedly assaulted another female.
Schell City man arrested for felony non support

On July 3, Steve Whitesell, 35, Schell City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony of non-support-total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Osceola man arrested on three felony counts

On June 30, Lewis Thomas, 67, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class B felony of manufacturing a controlled substance, a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance, and a class C felony of unlawful possession of a firearm. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.
The charges stem from an investigation the day before on NW 526 Road, Osceola, when a search warrant was executed by St. Clair County deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force. During the search deputies located 10 marijuana plants growing in various locations on Thomas’ property. Several firearms and items associated with the use of methamphetamine were also located and seized as evidence. The items field tested positive for methamphetamine.

On June 30, Jerry Eaton was arrested in St. Clair County on two warrants for failing to appear in court. Eaton failed to appear in St. Clair County court on a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only. He failed to appear in Henry County court on a felony charge of receiving stolen property. Bond in that case is set at $500 cash only.

Marijuana plants seized
On June 29, St. Clair County deputies discovered marijuana growing in a field in the northeast section of the county. A total of 94 marijuana plants were seized. The Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force assisted with the case.
Stealing report
On June 29, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from John Mills in reference to a stealing that occurred at his property on SE 175 Road. Mills reported a 2006 Maxey 12 foot single axle trailer and a blue 2005 Twister go-cart missing. The total value of the items was estimated at $2,400.
