On June 17, a St. Clair County arrest warrant was issued for Rachael Wheatley, 37, Osceola, charging her with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
The charge stems from an incident the day before when a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Wheatley was driving in the Lowry City area. The vehicle did not have license plates. Citations were issued and the vehicle was towed. An inventory of the contents of the vehicle was conducted and a clear plastic bag with a white powder substance was found. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. The Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.
