Complete St. Clair County Sheriff's Office News Release for March 16-23, 2015

     St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made six warrant arrests and took two reports of stealing during the week of March 16-23.

Stealing reports

     On March 21, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report on NE Highway 82. Christina Thomas reported her son was down the stairs at the Roadside Park, Osceola, and heard someone messing with the chain securing his black Roadmaster Granite 26" men's mountain bicycle to a tree. She said he ran back up the stairs and observed an individual loading his bicycle in the back of a vehicle. The bicycle was valued at $99. The investigation is ongoing.

     On March 19, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing complaint on SE 601 Road, Collins. Rick Mitchell reported two bull calves missing and one heifer missing. Mitchell said the calves were a week to ten days old and solid red in color. The total value of the calves was estimated at $1,800. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant arrests

Cynthia Harness

On March 20, Cynthia Harness, 42, of Hammond, IN, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on nine class D felony charges of passing a bad check. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only. The warrant was issued in February 2005 and stems from incidents in December 2001.

Bobbi Register

     On March 20, Bobbi Register, 32, of Rich Hill, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor charge of theft/stealing-value of property or services is less than $500. Bond is set at $1,500 cash only. The warrant was issued in October 2014 and stems from an incident in November 2010.

William Brassfield

     On March 19, William Brassfield, 26, of Kansas City, was arrested in Osceola on a misdemeanor warrant from El Dorado Spring Police Department charging him with contempt of court. Bond is set at $540.50 cash only. The warrant was issued on Feb. 24.

Timothy Specker

     On March 18, Timothy Specker, 49, of Marshall, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked. The warrant was issued in June 2011 and stems from an incident in September 2010. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

Rebecca Trowbridge

     On March 17, Rebecca Trowbridge, 28, of Collins, was arrested on a no bond St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued March 4 and stems from an original incident on Sept. 27, 2014. A St. Clair County deputy was on patrol and recognized a passenger in a vehicle with an active arrest warrant in the rear parking lot at Shelby’s in Lowry City. Trowbridge was driving the vehicle and during the investigation she was found to be in possession methamphetamine.

Rodney Miller

     On March 16, Rodney Miller, 47, of Osceola, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on original class C felony charges of burglary-second degree and stealing wire. The warrants were issued in November 2014 and stem from incidents in February 2012. Total bond is set at $10,000 cash only.
