Complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office News Release for February 17-23, 2015

     St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies took a theft report and made several warrant arrests during the week of February 17-23.

Theft report

     On Feb. 20, a St. Clair County deputy took a report of property damage from Janice Putnam. She reported a power line going to her neighbor’s residence was cut and lying down in her driveway on SE Highway WW. Putnam said someone also went through their vehicles and threw items out on the ground.  She advised a 3/4 drive Engerman impact wrench valued at $400 was missing from the back of her 1996 Mercury Cougar. Putnam also reported a three-month-old registered yellow lab puppy wearing a red harness is missing her property. The estimated value of the puppy is $300. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant arrests

Johnnie Carroll

     On Feb. 20, Johnnie Carroll, 72, Deepwater, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Feb. 19 and stems from an incident on Feb. 11with Appleton City Police Department. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Kevin Chapman

     On Feb. 19, Kevin Chapman, 42, Osceola, was arrested in St. Clair County on a Cedar County warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor passing a bad check-less than $500. The warrant was issued in June 2012 and stems from an incident in December 2011. Bond is set at $350 cash only.

Levi Sieleman

     On Feb. 18, Levi Sieleman, 33, Walker, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court for a probation violation hearing on an original charge of non support. The warrant was issued on Jan. 8 and stems from an original incident in January 2013. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.

Stephanie Shivers

     On Feb. 17, Stephanie Shivers, 34, Lowry City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class B misdemeanor of trespass-first degree. Bond is set at $500 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on Feb. 13 and stems from an incident on Nov. 24, 2014, when Shivers allegedly entered a residence on NE 700 Road, Lowry City, without permission.

Kayne Gonzales

     On Feb. 17, Kayne Gonzales, 19, Lowry City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging him with a class C felony of domestic assault- second degree and a class B misdemeanor of property damage-second degree. The warrants were issued on Feb. 13 and stem from an incident on Nov. 24, 2014, when deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault on NE 700 Road, Lowry City. Gonzales allegedly punched an individual in the face after kicking the door in and entering the residence without permission. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

     On Feb. 17, Darrell Linder, 62, Osceola, was arrested in Osceola on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a probation/parole revocation on an original class C felony charge of passing a bad check $500 or more- no account/insufficient funds. The warrant was issued on Jan. 28. The original charge stemmed from an incident in August 2007. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.
