Deputies make two warrant arrests and take a theft report

Warrant arrests

      On Feb. 8, Daniel Nesbitt, 30, Lincoln, was arrested in St. Clair County on several out of county active warrants. Nesbitt was arrested on a Benton County warrant charging him with class D felony non-support. Bond is set at $8,500 cash only. He was arrested on a Vernon County warrant for failing to appear in court on a probation violation on an original misdemeanor charge of passing a bad check. Bond is set at $900 cash only. Nesbitt was also arrested on two Henry County warrants, one for a probation violation on an original misdemeanor charge of passing a bad check with bond set at $1,000 cash or surety and the other for a probation violation on an original misdemeanor charge of non-support with bond set at $500 cash only. Nesbitt was transported to the county line and custody was transferred to Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

     On Feb. 6, Paul Reaves, 51, Flemington, was arrested in St. Clair County on two active warrants from the Humansville Police Department charging him with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and insurance. Reaves was transported to the county line and custody was transferred to Humansville Police Department.

Theft report

     On Feb. 7, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Lois Lyke in reference to the theft of three Tasco trail cameras and ten bales of straw from her property near NE 477 Road and NE 450 Road. The total value of the items was estimated at $280. The investigation is ongoing.
