On Jan. 23, a St. Clair County warrant was issued for Thomas Cain, 75, Mountain Grove, charging him with class B felony theft/stealing. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The charge stems from an incident on Oct. 26 in Collins. On Oct. 27, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report from Mike Garlett Jr., Mike's Wrecker Service. Garlett reported a 1986 Peterbuilt that he had been servicing was missing from his lot. He said the service to the truck was completed and he was waiting on payment.
