Burglary report

On Dec. 2, St. Clair County deputies took a report on NE 230 Road, Osceola, in reference to copper being stolen from a barn and residence. Kevin Wisner reported he leases the property for his farming operation and noticed copper wire, a tool box, several small motors, and other miscellaneous items setting next to the barn when he arrived. Wisner advised the items should have been located in various places throughout the barn. Wisner stated he checked the residence located on the property and noticed someone had entered it through a window. He also checked the garage and noticed copper wiring had been cut. Property owner Richard Scott reported a glass jar containing coins, two plastic totes containing linens, and pieces of copper wire were removed from the structures. The investigation is ongoing.
