Warrant arrest

Terry Lesmeister

On Sept. 30, Terry Lesmeister, 22, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class B felony charge of burglary in the first degree, class C felony charge of stealing, and a class D felony charge of property damage. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a burglary that occurred at Dains Fish Farm on Highway H, Schell City, on April 12. Ammunition, cash from register, several rolls of change, and a computer and monitor for the surveillance system was stolen from the store. Damage was reported to the front and rear doors and the total damage and loss was estimated at $5,240.

Two cows reported missing

On Sept. 30, a St. Clair County deputy took a report from Gilbert Watson in reference to missing cows. Watson reported two cows missing from a field near the intersection SE 601 Road and SE 476 Road, Collins. Watson explained he is the owner one of the cows and he looks after the other cow for another individual. The value of the cows was estimated between $3,000 and $3,500 each.
