Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 6 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 25, 2022 through December 2, 2022.

Castellsnod Perdomo, Jose- On November 25, 2022, Jose was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to yield to an Emergency vehicle and failing to maintain lanes. A Deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain lanes. The vehicle failed to stop to an emergency vehicle. The vehicle eventually came to a stop and the driver was taken into custody. The driver was released pending formal charges.

Kalberloh, Kendrick- On November 26, 2022, Kendrick was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person, Possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, Unlawful Possession of drug paraphernalia-prior drug offence. Deputies attempted a traffic stop for an equipment violation, the vehicle failed to yield to an emergency vehicle. The bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety.

Carl, Mary- On November 27, 2022, Mary was arrested by St. Clair County deputies for Domestic Assault 2nd and Armed Criminal Action. Deputies were dispatched to a domestic in progress. An investigation was conducted and Mary was arrested on a 24 hour hold. A warrant was issued and the bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Yousman, Stephan- On November 28, 2022, Stephan was arrested by St. Clair County deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Tampering with a motor vehicle and property damage. The bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Nall, Brendalee- On November 30, 2022, Brendalee, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Driving while revoked. The arrest came from a traffic stop for speed. Brendalee was booked and released pending formal charges.

Nance, Paul- On December 2, 2022, Paul was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Johnson County warrant for FTA Speeding. The arrest came from Deputies doing a abandoned vehicle check. The bond was $150 cash only.
