Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 5 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 17th, 2022 through November 24th, 2022.

Fannon, Jonathan- On November 21, 2022, Jonathan was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for driver fail to secure child in restraints. The bond was set at $217.00 cash only.

Klug, Ricki- On November 22, 2022, Ricki was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Abuse of A Child. Deputies were dispatched to an assault and an investigation was conducted and Ricki was arrested. A warrant was issued and the bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Fonteneau, April- On November 23, 2022, April was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid 10 grams or less. The bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Wood, John- On November 23, 2022, John was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies, on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation Revocation. The bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Buckler, William- On November 23, 2022, William was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on charges of 9 counts of Child Molestation 1st Degree. An investigation was conducted and a warrant was issued. There is a No Bond warrant.
