Text Caster
Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.
Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications
We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 2 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 2nd, 2022 through November 9th, 2022.
Davies, Kaleb- On November 4, 2022, Kaleb was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Christian County Warrant for Failure to Appear, no seatbelt. The bond was set at $10.00 cash only.
O'bryan, Michael- On November 9, 2022, Michael was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant DWI persistent. The bond was set at $5000 cash or surety.
Assisting Henry County with a pursuit
Deputies were notified of a pursuit heading into our county. Deputies assisted, the vehicle avoided our deputies' spikes and continued, later going through a bean field and through a barbed wire fence. The vehicle was disabled after running into a creek embankment. The suspect was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
