Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 5 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of October 9th, 2022 through October 16th, 2022

Maxwell, James- On October 11th, 2022, James, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County Warrant for Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of A Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $2500 cash only.

Holdenried, David- On October 13, 2022, David, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Douglas County warrant for Fail to Appear, Failing to Display Plates. The bond was set at $150 cash only.

Blevins, Bailey- On October 14, 2022, Bailey was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on Henry County Warrant for Fail to Appear, Failing to Display Plates. The bond was set at $300 cash or surety.

Poorman, Dylan- On October 14, 2022, Dylan was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Kansas City PD warrant for Aggravated Assault. There was no bond. Dylan was also arrested on a Jackson County Warrant for Assault 1st Degree and Assault 2nd degree. The bond was set at $25,000 cash only.

Melton, Michelle- On October 15th, 2022, Michelle was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest/Interfering with arrest. The bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
