Text Caster
Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.
Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications
We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of August 22nd, 2022 through August 29th, 2022.
Walker, Daniel- On August 25, 2022, Daniel Walker, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving while revoked or suspended. The arrest came when deputies were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver. Deputies got the vehicle stopped and field sobriety tests were conducted.
Deahler, John- On August 27, 2022, John Deahler, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Fail to Appear Possession of A Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $5000 cash only.
Mull, Justin- On August 29, 2022, Justin Mull, Kansas City, was arrested by Jackson County Deputies and picked up by St. Clair County Deputies for a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of A Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The bond was set at $7500 cash or surety.
Wrights, Veronica- On August 29, 2022, Veronica Wrights, Kansas City, was arrested by Jackson County deputies and picked up by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Driving while revoked, Speeding, Possession of A Controlled Substance. The bond amounts are $430 cash only and $10,000 cash or surety.
